Hey Loves, so here's a video that I get the most questions about and that my Hair. I received countless questions and comments about my hair and how I maintain healthy looking hair so your girl has you covered. I talk all about the products I use from hot tools to hair oils and even how I keep my hair straight for a week without ironing. I hope you enjoy this video and it answers some of your questions.
Dale and I decided to take a small vacation to Seoul during our holiday period before going back to school. Being our first time going to Seoul we wanted to see and experience as much as we could for the time period we were there for. One of my main aims was to visit Itaewon, and do some shopping. I have heard so many stories from other foreigners about shopping in Itaewon and finding makeup brands and cosmetics that you would find back home, so I was very excited about that. I managed to pick up a few makeup items from a store called Beauty Supple Itaewon, where I found LA Girl Cosmetics and Anastasia Beverly Hills. I can't tell you how excited I was to see brands that I am familiar to. We also visited the South Africa restaurant called Braai Republic and did a day trip to the North Korea border. Watch the video for more information and indepth purchase reviews.
So if you don't know by now I am currently in South Korea, Gwangju to be exact. I have been teaching for just over a month and a half. I decided to film a 3 part series on my experiences living in Korea and share some tips that Dale and I used to adjust to a foreign country. I hope you find these videos informative and helpful to make a decision whether you would like to teach and what processes you need to take. It can be a long process so the quicker you start the easier it would be for your application process. Enjoy and comment below any suggestions of future videos and if we should start a vlogging channel called "The Slaters" or "Life in Korea".
Thank you again for all the support and love on my channel and social media. I noticed quiet a few people are interested in teaching abroad hense the reason we filmed these videos.
Today is such a bittersweet day. I can't believe I am on a plane to Korea. A few years ago Dale and I made it one of our goals to travel and see the world and we thought about teaching English. A few years later we finally can do what we wanted to do. I all happened so fast and now I am on a plane jetting off to another foreign country to explore and give back. If you research on google you will see so many people doing this course and teaching abroad and for the sole purpose of empowering someone else and expanding your knowledge.
So today is a Saturday morning. When you are reading this post I am probably already a the flight to Korea. Being my first time travelling internationally, you can imagine my nerves. Lets not get started on the packing. LOL How do you fit your life in to one 30KG bag?? Makeup, Toiletries and clothing... Seriously!! The hardest part was trying to determine what makeup I need to take and what to leave behind for my family to raid.
If you thought I was MIA, sorry about that. If you are a person that travels and requires VISA's etc then you would know the struggle I had to have everything done in a matter of 3 days. You may be shocked and think I am crazy but yes darling. If it was not for my beautiful parents, amazing husband and blessing from God, I honestly don't think I would have been writing this post to you.
So my hunnies, I am on a knew journey with the love of my life. Marriage is about travelling, exploring and experiencing a new life/culture together and what better way than in another country. I will be blogging and filming so let me know if you would like me to start a vlogging channel and travel section on the blog to document everything I do and where we visit.
If you would like information as to how we applied and where we did the course, then comment below and I will do a specific post on all that information. Well until I arrive in Korea and get online, we shall chat then. Thank you again for all the support and love. And I cant wait to share our journey and travels with you.

This week went by so fast, I can't believe the month is almost over. I started reviewing the Nimue Skin Starter pack which was sent by rubybox, you read about it HERE.
The products are amazing and even though I can't really give you a full review yet, I must say I am loving the way my skin is feeling.
In the week I decided to thread my face. Oh My Gosh! Ladies please do not do it. It hurt like hell. I do not wish the pain on anyone. I thought because I have been threading my brows and upper-lip, it would feel the same but I was fooled. Although my skin feels so soft and my makeup application is smoother, the breakouts were crazy and I am still recovering from it. I broke out in tiny white heads, which the beautician said it was likely to happen so yes I put myself in the situation. But I didn't realise it would be so bad. And to top it off I couldn't wear makeup for the 2 days after it so walking around bare face was a challenge.
I managed to film two videos this week, one being a dramatic makeup look for Music festivals. I was totally inspired by the gorgeous Desi Perkins and decided to recreate it and add a personal touch to the look. The tutorial is easy and affordable especially for those who are attending Ultra this weekend or preparing for Coachella :-)
Another huge announcement happened on social media. Kim & Kanye finally release pictures of their baby boy. And what an adorable picture, I had to Instagram it and talk about his cuteness overload.
On Wednesday I had dinner with Marlize of KandyKaneMakeup. She's such a gem and so down to earth. It just happened she was in town for work so I could not help but meet with her for dinner and drinks. After being internet buddies for so long, we finally met and couldn't stop talking, I think the waiter came to take our order 3 times and we were still chatting away.
I guess that kind of sums up my week. Videos, celeb news and blogging life.
Oh and if you missed this weeks videos, don't stress I have you covered. Watch them below:
