Hey Dolls,

Hope you had a good weekend, I'm back and this time I'm speaking COLOUR!! I absolutely love this colour TURQUOISE!! I don't know what it is about it but it is so stunning and it looks so good with black, coral, marigold(looks similar to mustard, will feature it) and white, it depends what type of style you are going for whether you want to make a bold or subtle effect.

Wearing a chunky beaded necklace with a black boob tube dress/top always looks most attractive as it breaks the colour and harshness of black. If you wearing a chunky bold necklace, refrain from wearing earrings that colour, remember less is more.

I love wearing my chunky Turquoise necklace with black and marigold, the colours complement each other so perfectly, you should try it.

Here are some examples of exactly what I am talking about, you can always bring out the colour in your accessories, bags, shoes, nail polish or make up. It just depends on the occasion and the style in which you want to portray the boldness of this colour. Either way, it still looks stunning.

Chunky beaded necklace, SO stunning!!
Black and Turquoise make a perfect match.
Love the way Kim has used these colours to complement each other.
Gorgeous Platform
Prada Platform
Kim wearing Marigold and Turquoise, so GORGEOUS!!

Nude belt and shoes break the colour for the perfect day look.
Essie nail polish. LOVE!!!
Chanel Bag.

Watch out for my favourite outfits that I collaborate Turquoise into, but for now, tell me what you think of the colour, is it a fashion trend?

Hey Doll's

So for those who feel high waisted shorts don't suit them, think again. I always thought that but in actual fact not only does it nip and tuck the tummy, it also looks good.
Wearing shorts with crop tops, tang tops, shirts or free-flowing t-shirts pairs well with it. Remember to accessorise properly with chunky jewellery and a stunning pair of stilettos or pumps.

Teal shorts,Champagne Gladiators and accessories- Mr Price, Body suit- Legit

Black shorts and Brown Leather Sandals- Mr Price, Body Suit- Legit, Tan Bag- Oh La la

Denim and striped  shorts are very popular as you can wear them with any top. Dress it up or down according to your accessories, blouse and shoes you pair with them.

Don't limit yourself to colours, red shorts can be worn with dark blue, leopard print and navy, bringing in the Nautical colours. This season it is all about the colours so go bold, bring it out in your chains and bangles and bright coloured bags.
Hope you like. Let me know what you wear your shorts with??

See you Fashionista's on the Runway side of life...

Loving the colours!! She always seems to bring an element of class into every outfit no matter what the colour or style.

Kim Kardashian has been my inspiration for quite sometime now, not only because she is amazingly gorgeous but because of her natural ability to pull off any outfit. She also appeals to women that are full figured which I find perfect for me.

Wedges and Patterned High Waister Skirt, LOVE.
Stunning nude coloured dress with center detail, AND Kim's SHOES, absolute LOVE
Striped white and red T from Edgars, Khaki skirt from Mr Price (my 2nd home)

FOUND THE OUTFIT!!

So I really liked this outfit and one day I had been shopping at Gateway when I came across the khaki mini skirt, not really thinking I purchased it. Next store I just so happened to be in had the red and white striped tee. I was still like so excited, so I went home and tried on the outfit, looked in my cupboard and found probably almost the exact shoes and chunky chain. And vawlah, my Kardashian inspired outfit was created.

You too can do so, all you have to do is go shopping and find something that feels comfortable, dress it up with heels and a bag and you ready to go. BUT,  just remember YOU WEAR THE CLOTHES, DON'T LET THE CLOTHES WEAR YOU!!

Look out for other posts, I will feature my shoes that I mentioned in this post.
